This paper will go over the goal setting process, competitive advantage of making use of the Diversity Index, and the types of high-performance reward systems that should be used to motivate personnel to reach their diversity desired goals at Allstate Insurance Company.

According to the goal setting model (Hellrigel & Slocum, 2011, g. 194), this emphasizes the challenges provided for the individual: aim difficulty, aim clarity, and self-efficacy. Establishing difficult nevertheless clear and achievable desired goals, for individuals who believe that they have the cabability to complete their very own tasks, causes high performance. Several moderators-ability, aim commitment, responses, and activity complexity-influence the effectiveness of the relationship between challenging desired goals and performance.
